The National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) brings UK police leaders together to set direction in policing and drive progress for the public.
The NPCC enables independent Chief Constables and their forces to work together to improve policing for the public. It coordinates the operational response to a range of threats, such as crime, terrorism and national emergencies. Working with the College of Policing, the NPCC implements standards and develop national approaches.
We view diversity as fundamental to our success. To tackle today’s complex policing challenges, we need a workforce made up from all of communities nationally. Applications from across the community are therefore essential.
The NPCC is hosted by the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS), and is subject to their recruitment policies and procedures. The MPS is a Disability Confident Committed Employer, and are committed to ensuring that disabled people and those with long-term health conditions have the opportunities to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations.
