The Crime Operations Coordination Committee is divided into 12 portfolios. It coordinates and directly influences frontline policing, Authorised Professional Practice, and specific training for themes that include violence and public protection, serious and organised crime, cybercrime and modern slavery.
The committee work with key stakeholders to prevent and cut crime, including: the National Crime Agency; all police forces in England and Wales, in addition to Police Scotland and the Police Service of Northern Ireland; the College of Policing; His Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services; the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners; the Home Office and government; and other key partners.
