Head: Chief Constable Paul Sanford QPM, Norfolk Constabulary

The Strategic Finance Coordination Committee is an integral part of the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) Operating Model and contributes towards the delivery of the NPCC objectives and annual plan. It also works to improve financial management across all police forces, develop processes and procedures for procurement and contract management.

Its objectives are to:

• Create and maintain the NPCC Financial Contribution Register, to provide Chief Constables oversight of their forces financial contributions and improve financial planning and forecasting.
• Produce relevant papers, documents, and reports to inform and support key decision-making structures, benefit management and the implementation of priorities for the NPCC Operating Hub.
• Build and maintain effective and open relationships with all force finance directors.
• Identify funding streams for training of existing and future police leaders.‍
