The International Coordination Committee (ICC) oversees and coordinates the assistance that UK policing gives to other countries, both at home and abroad.
The ICC seeks to develop international policing relationships more widely with both individual countries and international organisations, such as the United Nations and European Union.

The International Policing Assistance Service (IPAS) works under the authority of the National Police Chief Council and the Home Office.
IPAS provide a central coordination and delivery function for Non Operational International Policing (NOIP) providing bespoke policing capability to partner countries, bringing transformation and lasting impact. We tailor advice and services depending on the requirement, culture and context of each country. All programmes are prioritised according to the Home Secretary’s international priorities, downstream harm to the UK and supported by the NPCC International coordination lead.
IPAS is the primary gateway for International Policing Assistance, working hand-in-glove with partners to ensure consistency, alignment to strategic objectives and strong thematic focus anchored to the most relevant and externally viable principles and doctrine.
